Miles is an IT-consultancy with locations in Bergen (Miles AS) and Oslo (Miles Oslo AS). The company was founded in 2005 by experienced people from established consultancies who wanted to create a new and unique IT consulting business.
 
Our vision is to create an environment that attracts and develops the most talented and skilled people in the IT-consultancy industry. The company is owned by the employees (85 %) and one external investor Villamar AS (15 %). Miles is providing the optimal balance between high competence and warm people, and we accept no compromises on this matter.
 
Miles has been highly profitable every year since the startup. In 2008 the revenue passed 40 MNOK with an EBITA of approximately 10 MNOK. In the beginning of 2009 the company counts 36 employees, of them 34 being consultants.
 
We offer IT-project management. IT-test management, system architecture and system development services. We have strong competence on Service-Oriented-Architecture and agile methods. Our consultants are engaged by larger companies to fill demanding roles in larger projects based on Java- or .Net-technology. Our customers are typically operating in financial, insurance, energy and telecom industries.
 
We either deliver hourly-based, preferably long-term, consultancy services or complete projects of tailor-made systems.
